Music does more than just make sounds, it changes the way we think and act. The skills your child will learn in music will help them be successful on the stage, in the classroom, and for the rest of their lives. The Be Part of the Band project was created to get more students involved in music.

Be Part of the Music reached out to leading advocates, industry leaders, and educators across the country to share "their story" of how they came to music and how it has affected their lives. Keep checking back as we continue to add more stories.
