Message from the director:
The Sacred Heart School Band continues to be an exceptional Catholic elementary/middle school ensemble. Having received "superior" ratings at the RIMEA junior band festivals and solo/ensemble festivals, students have also been accepted into the All-State ensembles. The instrumental program encompasses students from grade 3 through grade 8 with small group instruction for beginners and full rehearsals during and after school. Besides the annual Christmas and spring concerts, the group reaches out to the community by performing at nursing homes and other Catholic schools. Approximately 60% of eligible students choose to participate in the Sacred Heart School Instrumental/Band program.
