Message from the director:

Welcome to the FMS Hornet Band resource site! Watch the videos with your parents, then play the Instrument Matching Game & list your instrument preference. We start on flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, or percussion (mallets & snare drum). If you’d like to play oboe, bassoon, or saxophone, choose flute or clarinet. If you would like to play French horn, choose trumpet, & for tuba, choose euphonium. You will switch to your desired instrument in 7th grade. We will use your request to determine your band class. On Sept. 8, two music companies come to FMS with instruments to rent or buy. If you have any questions, please contact us. We are so excited to work with you!
