What is Band?

Message from the director:

Arnall Middle School Bands are directed by Gena Wayne. The band program at Arnall Middle School is over 200 strong and is an educational and fun atmosphere for all students who are eager to learn how to play an instrument. No prior knowledge/experience is required. All new students are placed in a beginning band class. The Arnall Middle School Band has traveled to Orlando, Florida (Disney) and to New York City, New York and is planning a 2020 trip. Students may join band in 6th, 7th, and in 8th grade. For "new" students, be sure to click on the following link located at the bottom of the page to sign up for the 2019-2020 band (https://forms.gle/DHMYzLhs5sm3fUtW9) or rising 7th/8th graders (https://forms.gle/2BumrUxYtgjbn1bX6).
