Parents/guardians, this coming school year your child will begin playing a musical instrument in the Gretna Elementary School band program. When he or she brings home an instrument for the first time, it is more than just an exciting day. Band creates opportunities where your children can have fun, learn a beautiful artform, be part of a team, and develop many life skills needed to be successful beyond their school career.
